Right now, families in Bangladesh are facing the harshest cold they have experienced in more than 70 years. For those already living in deep poverty, this has become deadly.

It has been reported that nearly 50 people have already died from cold-related illnesses. The elderly and young children are especially vulnerable—many have no protection from the cold.
