This golden menorah is a wonderful symbol of our Christian partnership with God’s chosen people. When the people rebelled against Moses and Aaron in the desert, God showed them a sign: Aaron’s rod budded. It brought forth flowers and almonds in a demonstration of God’s favor on these two leaders. This was how God showed that He had chosen the tribe of Levi to minister before Him.
