In the New Testament, Paul likens being filled with the Holy Spirit to drinking wine. He encouraged believers that they, "...not get drunk with wine,...but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18, FSV).
Marilyn shows us in her book, In Joy...Encounters with the Holy Spirit, how daily drinking of the "new wine" of the Holy Spirit, opens the door to a life filled with continual and long-lasting joy.
The kind of joy that not only puts a smile on your face and gives you hope, but the same kind of joy that Jesus, "...the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross...(Hebrews 12:2, NKJV).
As you read In Joy, you will discover throughout God's Word the many characteristics, traits, strengths, and gifts of the Holy Spirit-all available to you, the believer. Drink deeply of His presence and richly receive all that the Holy Spirit has for you.
